Accommodation

During orientation week, interns will be living together with other volunteers and interns arriving in the same month. Depending on the country, they will be living in a hostel or in our Orientation Center.

Once interns transfer to their placement, they may have a choice between living in a lodge, homestay, apartment, our Orientation center or a hostel. These preferences can be indicated on the online application, but they are only an indication of preference. Many placements have only one possible accommodation (for example, remote placements may only be able to accommodate interns in a homestay and National Park placements may only be able to accommodate interns in a lodge of a park ranger station). The specifics of accommodation are included in the confirmation email.
