Contacting Home

During your orientation you will have easy access to phones and Internet thus making communicating with home relatively cheap and simple.

Once you have transferred to your placement, your access to phone or Internet may be significantly reduced. Generally, the more rural your placement, the further you can expect to travel to access phone or Internet services. These types of details are available to you when reviewing your placement options.

If anyone from home needs to get in contact with you, they can call any of our offices in North America, or contact your country coordinator directly, and we will ensure a message is passed along to you, as well as provide means for you to get to a phone if necessary.

Keep in mind that while we do have many placements with limited phone and Internet access, most of our placements do allow for daily communication if desired.
